McGee, a demolition and construction company, reported a drop in profit to \u00a35.3 million for the past year. By comparison, profit in the previous year was \u00a312.4 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, McGee\u2019s revenues increased from \u00a3121.8 million to \u00a3151.4 million, while operating profit fell from \u00a312.55 million to \u00a35.58 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s report stated that the result \u201cfell short of expectations,\u201d although it still compares favorably with many competitors. The main issue was delays in starting and completing projects due to clients\u2019 planning difficulties, which led to higher transportation costs and reduced efficiency of additional services, including equipment and transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
